Summary
Without Regto, there was no one to keep Rudo out of trouble. At age nine, he's sent to the Pit for stealing and trespassing. Instead of falling into no man's land, Rudo is found by the Hell Guard near the Kamuatari District. Zanka was born with a bone missing in his right leg, disabling him for life. All he wants to do is prove to people that he's still worth something, even if he has a hard enough time believing it himself. He befriends a retired soldier who teaches him how to fight, but he knows it'll never be enough. Especially when he can't function without his staff to lean on. The last thing he expects is for the mysterious (and possibly feral) Spherite kid to imprint on him like a baby duckling, following him everywhere and drawing way too much attention to the both of them. Together they navigate challenges in a world that insists on underestimating them all while trying to figure out where they belong in it.

Zanka goes to grasp his necklace for comfort. He knows it’ll be there because he always wears it- a silver pendant shaped like a staff or tuning fork. He knows he’ll be wearing it because it lives around his neck... but its not there. His hand clutches empty space and the fuschia mystery hoodie- FUCK.
Zanka didn’t go to parties. He wasn’t one for clubbing. When Riyo or Enjin managed to drag him to a bar, he’d have maybe two drinks. And this is exactly why.
OR: After a night spent black out drunk, Zanka wakes up in alone in a random car with no phone, no assistaff, and some rando's ring.
