Summary
The Watchtower was meant to be a sanctuary, but to John Walker, it feels like a ninety-story gallows pole. Between mandatory psych evals and the crushing weight of a public that hates him, John is vibrating with a restless, repressed rage. Then there’s Bob. The unassuming atom bomb who remembers nothing of the havoc he’s wreaked.
In a tower full of lab rats and rehabilitated soldiers, they are two sides of the same broken coin: John can't stop remembering the past, and Bob can't remember it at all. Walker knows he should keep his distance from a man who could ignite at any moment, but in the quiet, rain-scented hours of the night, the pull toward Bob’s flickering light is becoming impossible to ignore.

Summary
Lando realised immediately once he was within the space that apparently cricketers were tall, at least these two were. Seeing the unbridled joy of the cricketer in front of him, Lando couldn't help the smile that took over his face as he went to shake his hand. Lando noticed two things then, one, his hand was enveloping Oscar's, tiny inside of his. The second thing he noticed was the way his hair was swoopy and fluffy at the same time, almost like a cartoon prince. Oscar didn't stop smiling, even as Lando went to shake his teammate's hand. Then he noticed the third thing, he had the most adorable bunny teeth ever.

What if Oscar never went to England? What if he stayed in Australia and pursued his other favourite sport and become a cricketer instead?

Summary
For Oscar, it wasn’t about proving everyone wrong. It wasn’t about giving McLaren the middle finger that all of Australia craved him to give his own team. It wasn’t even about making Lando sweat.
Oscar had only one goal for the 2026 season and that was finding the excitement and love for racing again. He wanted to enjoy the butterflies. Enjoy being naive. Enjoy the nerves, the pressure, the people not knowing your name. All that stuff.
But lingering looks from Lando and the suffocating noise around his longevity at McLaren weren’t helping.
Because Oscar had a problem.
He didn’t want to get into the car. He didn’t want to drive. Actually, he was terrified of it.

The whole reason he’d dragged Max all the way to the middle of nowhere - aside from their need to hide from the public, and fast - was so that he could work on his photography. He’d dreamt up a whole future where people would know him for something other than his failed career, his failed business ventures, and his failed public relationships. He’d publish a book and people would remember he existed, and maybe, just maybe, he’d distance himself from Max’s calamitous public image for long enough for people to remember that they used to like him.
Daniel sighed at the thought. He was such a greedy, twisted creature. Sometimes, he didn’t know how Max put up with it.
