    There wasn't anything special about this man, this man who was nothing but a shell of his former shelf, this man, who could not even recall his own name. At least, that is what he believed.
    He was just another Fixer trying to survive, but he couldn't even muster up the courage to find a reason as to why he was trying to survive. Was a life that still sparked only for the sake of living really all that important?
    Sure, he was a Grade 3 Fixer, which was a bit of an accomplishment, but plenty had done it before him, and plenty would do it after him.
    And yet, the future that every single one of you that took an interest in this story will see alongside me will prove that man wrong.
    So then, let's read this particular book together, shall we not?
