Losing her halo she could live with; she didn’t particularly enjoy being an angel anyway. But losing her wings? It was…worse than anything else she’d ever experienced. Even still it sometimes felt like a part of her was missing, like she was still…
It was stupid. She was lucky. Lucky that Lute didn’t outright kill her. She was lucky that Charlie had found her so quickly, that she was so kind and generous. She was lucky that she had somewhere to lay her head, food to eat, and a job that felt fulfilling.

She just really wishes she didn't have to deal with molting, especially since she really doesn't want to bother Charlie with the pretty messy process of opening the pinfeathers she can't reach herself.
