Bookmarker's Notes
Finished. Fav chapter: 14 - I LOVE THE PART WERE CLOUD'S INNOCENT KID MASK SLIPS OFF!!!!! MY FAV!!!!!!
------------
After Genesis passed out, Cloud started barking out the orders. The man who quietly stayed at Genesis’s elbow most of the campaign organized their company into small squads. Those uninjured were sent to establish a perimeter, others to treat the injured. Cloud himself had been casting cure nonstop, turning his attention to other Soldiers when it was clear Genesis was stable enough. It was strange to see Cloud without the thick glasses. Cloud’s youthful face slimmed down some into the beginnings of adulthood through the course of the campaign. It made him now look older than fifteen.
------------
“Cleared for landing. Get the wounded ready to go,” a familiar voice called out. Kunsel’s head shot up just as Cloud strode out past the flap of a tent. His tone left no room for questions, back straight as he directed Soldiers around him easily twice his size.Cloud turned to Roche and barked, “Get the stretcher.”
Roche straightened immediately as if lightning shot down his spine.
“Yes, sir!” then he recognized Cloud, and his face went slack. “Uh, wait…”
