"And I suppose if I'm ever confronted physically, I should blast them away with my signature?" Pantalone chuckled. "How very effective indeed."
"Let us hope it never comes to that." Dottore said. "But if it did, I would simply handle them in your stead."

Dottore says nothing. Pantalone takes a drag of his cigarette and continues.
"One of your subordinates came in looking for something. He reeked of antiseptic. I had to send him away."
Because he smelled like antiseptic?
"Because he smelled like you."
Alternatively: The funeral proceedings of a man who dared to fly too close to the sun. Forsaken by all, survived by one.

Summary
Dottore enjoyed the perks of pretending to be an Omega. With his status as Harbinger, he could avoid the downsides and enjoy all the benefits. The element of surprise, Alphas who thought of themselves as righteous protectors, the list went on. It was all terribly useful.
But when Pantalone, ever-pining, finally pursued him, Dottore found himself at a stalemate. Would Pantalone lose his affection upon finding not a sweet Omega in his bed, but a Beta?

The problem is he doesn’t really know anything about the regrator and a meeting with him doesn't clear anything up either.Thank the Tsaritsa even the renowned harbingers aren't immune to break room gossip behind the their comrades back. This is surely the best way to learn about the banker that occupies the ninth seat, right?
Basically, I wanted to write about the harbingers oppinion on Pantalone and Dottores relationship behind their backs. Lol.
