Summary
Voldemort has a nervous breakdown every time he has to change the seating chart, Sirius Black does not hand over his godson to Hagrid and does not go to Azkaban, and Remus Lupin basically speeds back to Britain when he hears what went down.
Sirius is a carbon copy of his mother, Walburga, who absolutely hates Voldemort almost as much as she hates Lucius Malfoy. She lives in the only actual safe place that he can bring his godson, and that is how Harry Potter grows up with a grandmother, two fathers, a spy of an uncle, and the three most amazing friends the world could give. He takes after Walburga and Sirius in the sense that Thursdays were the day you should out do yourself.
(Harry is raised by Remus, Sirius, and Walburga, Befriends Ron Weasley, Daphne Greengrass, and Luna Lovegood, and causes all around chaos for everyone involved. There is heart ache, there is heart warmth, and there is a shit ton of laughter and embarrassment to go around.

Summary
Harry Potter was not normal. And he wasn't what was to be expected of the boy-who-lived. He was raised by a family that was said to have delved so deep into the dark arts that they couldn't even stray out of it by chance. But they were a loving family. His family. In his eyes, and in the technical eyes of the bank of Gringotts and the Law itself, he was an Addams. Technically he was born into the Addams family. After all, they were his Father's relatives, his mother's relatives, and his Godfather's relatives. His mother was born from a line of squibs, not the main line of the family, and so, she was decendent from a pureblood family.
But that's a story for another time. We're talking about Harry Potter (As Dumbledore insists on calling him), or Hortensius Addams. The boy who believes that dark and light are not real, but that magic and Magiks are two very different things, neither bad, just different.

Summary
Harry Potter does not look exactly like his father. Which goes well against most popular belief. There is also the fact that living with his family has left some issues with him that he most certainly does not want, nor feels the need, to sort out. In fact, his cold slyness gives him comfort. Why would he be all sweet and kind and gullible when he can just take what he wants? There is no question about it, this boy was something truly terrifying. It would prove to be terrible if you were to somehow slip onto his bad side.

Summary
Kakashi is given team 7 because: Someone needs to watch over the Jinchuriki and protect the Uchiha bloodline; Sakura was just supposed to round out the numbers.
Of course the Hogake and council underestimated the fundamental breaks in Kakashi's psyche. His guilt complex ran rampant seeing what amounted to the reincarnation of his old team with some added features. He was going to turn his babysitting job into a crash course into creating the best ninja he could produce. Nothing was going to hurt his adorable little puppies, his new family.
