Summary
When Thorin dies in Bilbo's arms, Bilbo decides to retreat back to the Shire and leave his new life behind in the hopes of pretending none of this ever happened. Unfortunately, Bilbo is pregnant, and he never got around to telling anyone in the chaos of Thorin's madness. He finds that the Shire is far different than he remembers, or perhaps he has changed more than he thought, and raising a baby on his own while he has become something of a pariah is harder than he expected. Then, one day, very familiar dwarves show up on his doorstep, and reveal that Thorin was never actually dead. Now Bilbo is forced to come to terms with potentially reuniting with a love he thought he'd loss with a toddler who has no idea he even has another father. For the third time in a handful of years, Bilbo must decide whether or not to make the long journey across the horizon, and if he goes, is he willing to fight to regain what he lost?

Summary
When Bilbo had decided to venture into the world of free use, she never expected bumping into Thorin, a butch on the train who makes her a very pleased Princess.
Thorin's pupils dilated and she grunted. "Turn around," she commanded with a low rumble.
Bilbo's brain hadn't even registered the command by the time her body was moving. She twirled to face the window, and was pleased to feel Thorin wrap her arm around her stomach to press their bodies together. Bilbo softly moaned and relaxed in her arms.
"That's a good girl," Thorin praised against Bilbo's hair.

Summary
Lobelia resented the insinuation that she was a thief. It was utterly inaccurate and highly offensive that much of Hobbiton thought her such. In recent days – after that blasted Bilbo Baggins’ discovery of his missing spoons – she had noticed half of the Shire clutching their purses a little closer whenever passing her in the marketplace, holding their belongings behind skirts and deep in pockets.
Ludicrous, really. The very thought that she, Lobelia Bracegirdle, was no better than a common pickpocket or other ne’re-do-well was laughable.
No, Lobelia rather thought she was better than that.
In fact, before the bloody teaspoons, she had never once been caught. In her estimation, that made her so much more than a mere thief.Or: Lobelia steals some more silverware. Dís catches her.
