Summary
Donnie and Leo decided, back when they were kids, that they were going to marry each other. They have always been extremely close to one another and their family thought this behavior was borderline codependent. Then, they found that there was a reason for their codependency and unwillingness to let the other alone for a mere minute: They were in love.
Mikey was on their side, even if he didn't agree fully on what they were doing. Raph was extremely anxious as he tried to help them hide this from their father.
And Splinter, being so caught up in his own twisted mind and past, just believed it was brotherly love until he decided to play a bigger role in their lives as he fought his way out of depression.
The newfound couple must go through all of the obstacles their family, unconsciously, had imposed on them as they try to figure out their own feelings and how their relationship fits into their family. -
