“This too.”, Severus ordered, tugging at the boy's trousers.
James flung them off in a hurry.
“Thank you, love.”, he whispered, pressing a sweet kiss to James's jaw.

Severus should really be used to it by now. He's not sure how many times James has woken him up like this, or how many times he's done it and Severus hasn't woken up, too many for even James to count; and he's still not used to it. It had started as so much of their relationship had, with James doing it to him. Then it evolved as they did, with James doing it for him. So many excuses of 'I didn't trust you back then!' or 'I needed to know you were okay!' or 'It's not my fault you live in the bloody snake den!'. All James' excuses to sneak in and watch him sleep.
(Jeverus Smut- James likes to sneak into the Slytherin dorms under the noses of Severus' housemates. One night, however, he takes things a step further.)

Harry Potter is eleven. Sort of. Except he's thirty-one. Or so.
Doesn't matter, really. He can look eleven if he wants. What matters is, he's lived all this shit before. SEEN it, anyway. and aged up. And he will not let it go that way this time.
This time, he's taking care of everything. Nobody's dying. Nobody's living in fear. And nobody's camping and starving for months looking for horcruxes. Harry's destroying the damn things immediately. Like, yesterday. Who knows. Time's a little wonky.Severus Snape is not prepared for adult, unhinged Harry Potter. Neither are Sirius, Remus, Ron, or any of the Weasleys. But that's okay. Harry hopes they won't get too attached. Because. Well. Harry's a horcrux. And all horcruxes have to be destroyed.
