Incredible one shot, im not sure if it was intentional in the way I interpreted it, but when hes running towards emilia, and believing that he doesn't want to die, there was a slight pov switch that lwk gave me chills when I read it.
"But that didn't stop him, he forced his limbs to move, his muscles to twitch and input energy into the rest of his cells. He can't fall here, he can't die again. He doesn't want to die, he doesn't want to die, I don't want to die–I don't want to die!" -

A beautiful look into Meili's character and why I love her so much.
Meili, Beako, Subaru, Garfiel, and Emilia are easily my top 5 characters in the series just due to how well they are written (otto is in that list I just love his character so much to where if I put him in my top 5 I'm gonna have to write another 5 pages of analysis on him...)
Incredibly well written and explored her character very well, we needa see more Meili fics in this space
10/10 Very much recommend reading this.
