Summary
This is a retelling of IPPKND with a dash of P&P and FSG in it. Expect morally grey characters figuring out their lives in Delhi and Lucknow. A blend of IPPKND, P&P with FSG that none asked for.
Khushi lives with her cousins Payal and Sheetal in Lucknow with Payal's father and step mother. After Payal gets jilted at the wedding altar, their reputation and shop suffers significantly. The three girls are forced to deal with family's shaken faith and a reclusive Payal, their father's deteriorating health, losses in their sweet shop, ever increasing debts since they took loans to meet dowry demands of Payal's almost in-laws, the looming threat of discontinuing higher education of Khushi and Sheetal, the new found obsession of Garima Gupta to get all of her daughters married to any willing man because she feels marriage for her daughters would be an impossible feat. A chanced encounter with the enigmatic ASR, where Khushi accidentally sabotages his most anticipated Fashion Show changes her life forever.
