"And this one." Spite set its gaze on Rook like a predator sizing up its prey. "She is ..." The demon paused to take another long, exaggerated inhale. "Delicious," it sighed wistfully. "Heart full of bitterness. Anger. Frustration. Loneliness."
The demon paused again when its gaze met the Crow’s from across the room. Its host was doing his best to maintain his mask of stoicism, but Spite could see the spark of fear in his eyes as he watched Spite leaning over the woman’s short frame. The demon's grin widened as it purred, "This one knows me."

This is a story following my dwarven Crow Rook, who happens to tap into the same Titan magic as Harding. It makes her crush on a possessed Crow somewhat complicated, as she navigates her newfound ability to communicate with spirits and demons.

This is a direct sequel to "By Any Other Name" and might be a bit confusing if you haven't read that first.
