Summary
Sleep lacked for nothing. He had a fulfilling job, a kind but strict boss, a soft bed waiting for him on his days off, at least one friend in the form of the realm’s rebellious prince, a friendly relationship with the realm’s most beautiful and commanding fury, and a brother who cared enough to visit once in a while. Realistically, he had everything he could ask for. Yet, as he thickened the lines of a bat he had just sketched into the decorative border he was constructing, his mind drifted to the last dream he had traveled in. The warmth of the fire and the loving gaze of the mother as she looked upon her sons.
He remembered the mortal mother’s eyes and his heart ached. He tried to imagine Thanatos laughing with him, but the image left him empty.
At the end of his shift a strange voice called out to him, beckoning him to the elder sigil in the back of the administrative chamber. Perhaps his extended family could help him find what was missing.

Summary
3 years ago, a boy went missing seemingly without a trace. To the outside world, he'd simply gotten off the bus, and vanished. But within the town he lived in, everyone had seen the boy be dug out of some crude, makeshift grave, only to then be placed among with the rest of the dead just days later with the killer never identified.
Now in present day, Zagreus moves to a small town hoping for a fresh start away from his past, only to discover that the place he chose to reside may very well be the key to solving this devastating case.

Summary
Zagreus always made stepping from the Styx look painless and elegant, what with the way he shook its blood-red waters from his hair as he strolled through an unending rain of snow-white flower petals.
Hypnos figured that practice must have made perfect as he clumsily clawed his way from its depths, weighed down by both his own Styx soaked cloak and a general inability to get his trembling legs to hold his weight.OR
In the Iilad, Hera has Hypnos put Zeus to sleep so she can go cause havoc. In the original myth, Hypnos escaped Zeus's wrath by fleeing to his mother, Nyx, for saftey. Zeus immediately backed down, unwilling to fight against the night.
In Hades, Hypnos wouldn't have that option.
