Something that's been swishing around in my head between bigger works. He get's wrapped up in drama that Quincy, Kate's annoying cousin left when he disappeared weeks ago. Rated for violence, some language.

Voyager is desperately low on supplies. The only planet close enough to provide dilithium and food is a matriarchal society that keeps their males as subservient consorts. Kathryn and Chakotay agree to play the part for the sake of their ship and crew, and get a lot more than they planned on from their two days on the pleasure-oriented planet. This story is J/C, but contains mild male slash and implied female slash. You have been warned.

Small town bookstore owner Kathryn Janeway is just looking to get through the holiday season after a messy breakup with her fiancé earlier in the year. So when a handsome tourist walks into her store looking for a last minute gift, she isn’t looking for anything more than a paying customer.
Fresh off the plane from San Francisco, Chakotay arrives in Indiana on Christmas Eve only to find that he left his girlfriend’s gift behind. Desperate, he walks into the only store still open.
