Set 15 years after the war, this fic features my favourite tropes, a medical mystery, a reasonable amount of snark, and a lot (a lot) of pure self-indulgence.

Summary

Two-hundred years ago, after the last dragon was rumoured dead, magic was outlawed by the crown. When the Dark Lord suspects a specific prophecy has come true, Draco is given a seemingly impossible task that leads him to question his heritage and his heart.
Hermione Granger, a handmaiden working in the Golden Keep, has kept her rudimentary magical abilities a secret since she was eleven. But after increasingly strange things start happening after her encounter with a particularly ornate dagger, she's forced to learn exactly who she is and what she's destined for.
