Pandora and Clockwork had him going in more than enough missions around the Infinite Realms for him to get used to being in an unknown world.
Immediately jumping into spearheading a masssive slave rebellion and breakout wasn't on his bingo. Not that he was complaining, helping people was always a bonus.
