Also cw!! Ooc Kokichi possibly cuz idk how to write lol (I was 16 was I wrote this gimme a break)
This takes place some time between the 1st and 2nd Trials, so be sure to keep that in mind, also I apologize if Kokichi seems a bit out of character this is my 1st time writing him and then again no one ever gets him 100% right so try not to get to mad please I did my best (also this is based off the English sub that’s why last names and Japanese honorifics are used in speech)

“Sans.”
Sans doesn’t dare turn around. He’s frozen in place, terrified, trying to think of everything that could go wrong, trying to find the questions he wanted to ask Grillby in all the time they spent apart.
“Sans…” There’s a long pause, as if Grillby is waiting for Sans to turn around. He doesn’t. “Sans, I want to talk to you—about us. About this.”
Sans, 18 and newly graduated, is unsure what to do after high school. His friends are moving away and chasing their dream jobs, while Sans is stuck in the same place he's always been. He ends up taking a job offer at a hotel, where his ex, Grillby (it's a long story), just so happens to be working. Chaos ensues.
