    With Erid still weeks away and food supplies running low, Grace convinces himself that every meal skipped is another chance to survive after they arrive. The starvation is slowly killing him, but he is far more afraid of becoming a burden than he is of going hungry.

     

    Unfortunately, it's hard to hide a medical crisis from someone who can literally hear your organs.
