Summary
The gist of it was this: infiltrate La Puta Madre, get key names, dates and locations, and get out. As if this was an easy task, and not something the RCM had been struggling to achieve successfully for decades.
The Moralintern’s present, Benjamin Setsuna, was a recent addition to the Madre, previously not physically present within the Jamrock locale. La Madre knew a name, that he was Seolite, his necessary business dealings, but had never actually seen the man.
Kim resented that this task had fallen to him, as the precinct’s only high ranking Seolite officer. He had accepted the task, mask carefully in place, but he felt Harry shift angrily next to him at their secondary briefing.

Spring 46' - When three little bodies wash up on the bank of the Esperance, Lieutenant Dominique Conduvoir of the 57th's Homicide Division requests the liaison of Juvenile Crime's most experienced officer: Detective Kim 'pinball' Kitsuragi. What *should* have been a temporary partnership - not only launches Kim down his desired career path - but entangles both men in a Moralintern conspiracy that drives rot deep into the heart of Revachol.
Winter 52' - More children are pulled from the Esperance.
Chapters alternate between Harry in the 'present' day and Kim in the past, this is an Eyes fic so obvious warning for major character death.

Two: KIM KITSURAGI; self-proclaimed 'spoiled sport' and more cop than man.Oh, and there's an extra spanner in the works. The Detectives seem to have had a *COLOSSAL* falling out two days prior that has rendered them... Not on the best of terms. What could possibly go wrong?

Kim is too well-controlled to crash the Kineema after that statement, but his fingers do tense on the steering levers. Masterfully, he regains his composure just in time to take a left turn. His eyes catch Harry’s in the rearview mirror. “What?”
After weeks of thought projects compounded on thought projects, evolving wardrobe choices, and explanations of unfortunate terminology–”that’s a slur?” – they had started to fall into some sort of understanding. Times when Harry would say a single word, he or she, and Kim would make the switch. It was new and at times, confusing; Kim couldn’t say he understood the appeal himself. But the look on her face when he whispered quiet sentences to her, as if he were talking to someone else– “This is Harry. She is my partner. She enjoys disco.” – it explained everything he needed to know.

“You must be from the 41st. I’m Lieutenant Kim Kitsuragi—though you seem to know that already.” He seems tense, for some reason—and his hand is still out. “I’m afraid I wasn’t told who you are.”
“It’s me, Harry! Kim, don’t you remember me? Fuck, there’s something really wrong happening.”
“If you’re referring to the dead body that has been hanging from a tree for seven days—then yes, I agree. It is pretty wrong.” Kim is looking at you with his mouth slightly pursed. There’s no recognition in his eyes—he looks at you like you’re a stranger.
“This can’t be happening." Kim clears his throat.
“You are clearly going through… something. But I would appreciate it if we could focus on the case for the moment.”
“Oh my god,” you say. “We did it already, Kim, but for some reason I’m the only one who remembers! This is some—some cosmic joke from the universe, I’ll tell you that.”
“Okay,” Kim says, slowly. “I’m going to give you a moment while I talk to the manager. You’re going to sit down and sort out whatever it is you’re doing. And then we’re going to take down that corpse.”
