“Er. Yes, me too,” Gale managed stiffly.

‘Oh shit.’
It was the last thought Vox had before an aquamarine chain clamped around his wrist and fucking yanked him across the Pentagram. He came out, spluttering, amongst shards of rubble and barely settled dust. In front of him, slowing ekeing themself up and glaring at him, was Alastor. An identical manacle was attached to his wrist.
“Leave.”
It was spat at him, Vox glowering, yanking on the chain and making Alastor hiss in pain.
“Would if I could, you fucking idiot. In sickness and in health, remember?”
Like either of them could forget. They’d exchanged those vows almost fifty years ago but Vox imagined they were as burnt into Alastor’s memory as they were his own.

“I’ve missed you too,” Vincent confesses.
Yeah, this is– they’ve overdone it with the drinks pretty bad.
The warmth from the whiskey churns inside Alastor’s guts, making his fingers feel numb. He tears his gaze away, staring at the whiteness of the ceiling instead of whatever is behind Vincent’s eyes.
The ceiling fan rotates on its axis, not doing much to snuff out the heat of the room. Vincent’s hand is still there, cupping his face, caressing his cheek.
Vincent’s voice cuts in. “Can I kiss you?” Ever so soft.
The fan is still spinning, worthlessly.
“Do you have to ask every time?”
Or: Alastor misses Vincent and they make out. Hard.

Vincent has spent his whole life trying to figure out what kind of man he's supposed to be. His father's kind, probably. The kind that walks into a room like he owns it, orders the right drink, says the right thing to the right person. The kind that never pauses in a doorway.
On his twenty-first birthday, he puts on his best shirt and his nicest tie and walks into a bar alone to practice.
He does not practice. He sits in the corner for five hours and talks honestly to a stranger for the first time in his life, and somewhere between the drink he hated and the one he didn't, jazz, cherry stems, and the walk home, something shifts. Not dramatically. The way tides move. You never see it happen, but eventually you look down and the waterline is somewhere different.
His name is Alastor. He is, Vincent will think later, a considerable amount of time's worth of not yet.

“Vox,” Alastor begins.
“—Okay, you know I’m starting to think—”
“What do you want?” There must be something. Ultimately, Vox has always been laughably easy. Alastor entertains throwing a stick wayward and seeing if that’s anything. He’d throw a rib, but, ha! Ha. The shadow doesn’t have any.
There’s a long expanse of silence that makes Alastor believe he’s hallucinated the entire third party after all, until:
“We need to get ya’ institutionalized, old man?” There is a pair of legs in front of him, standing at the shadows head. A solid position to crush its head under a foot. When Alastor looks up, Vox is looking down at him and his shadow, seemingly torn between where to focus. He looks notably disturbed.
“The fuck is wrong with you?” There’s a genuine quality to Vox’s tone. His eyes are wide.
Alastor seriously does not have time to explain.
Or, The one where Alastor kills his shadow.

Alastor pulls a hanger forward with more strength than is necessary. The metal screeching against each other causes Vincent to wince.
“Vincent, sweetheart, you are going to piss me off.”
When Vincent had broken the news of Alastor’s pregnancy to Velvette and Valentino, right after the screaming congratulations, Vincent was immediately sat down by the pair and given the talk about how pregnant omegas were not to be disagreed with or questioned whatsoever. Vincent shrugged and laughed at the time, because pregnant or not, omega or not, Alastor was not someone to be challenged but Vincent did that anyway. Vincent pissing Alastor off was as inevitable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.
tldr: omega alastor and alpha vincent shop for baby clothes and alastor is on his last straw

Vox was acting a lot more possessive of Alastor than usual. Everyone could see it, everyone noticed. But what was most shocking of all was that Vox had begun to catch onto it too.
Alastor was annoyed. His plans were halted all because his body chose to do everything early, at the worst possible time! Mid master plan. Wow what luck..
Basically Alastor’s heat starts mid kidnapping plan and him and Vox have to deal with it.. somehow this doesn’t involve nsfw

”You’d call everything off right now, just for this?”
Just for this, he says. As though it’s trivial. As though it isn’t everything that Vox has dreamt of every night for the past several decades. As though the rejection doesn’t sting just as sharply every time he wakes up and reaches to the other side of a cold bed, hands searching for a lover that will never be there, and hears callous laughter echoing in the back of his skull.
Vox sucks in a shaky breath, closing his eyes. He tilts his face downward, unable to look at Alastor when he admits it. He almost can’t bring himself to, sure that Alastor is already certain of the answer.
”Yes,” he whispers.
”You can’t be serious,” Alastor says quietly.

Angel was about to pull the stage curtain aside, but stopped when he heard Vox speaking.
“How are you feeling?”
“H̴̅o̷͋t. So̴͓̓ ... ho̵͖̚t.” The Radio Demon sounded strange, his voice syrupy, slow and confused. “Fȅ̵̠e̶̩͐l ... strä̶̫n̶̤͗ge. So̴ wa̶̟͋r̵̺͂m. Wh̵͕̑aț̵̄-”
“Let me help you off with your coat.”
Angel could hear the grin in Vox’s voice, and his stomach twisted. Slowly, with shaking fingers, he pulled on the curtain to try and see what was happening backstage.
Alastor had slumped over in Vox’s lap nuzzling into him like a cat; his arms looked heavy and limp when Vox removed his coat. The Radio Demon’s face was flushed, a warm blush on his cheeks, and his eyes ... they were swimming with an awfully familiar pink glow.
Love potion.
Angel had only caused trouble for the hotel, so he left to protect them. But at an Overlord party, he finds that one of his old friends might be in need of his help after all.

Summary
Charlie knows she needs to do something to make things up to Alastor, to let him know just how much she appreciates everything he's done for her up to this point, and because she knows being Vox's captive for so long must have been awful. Even if he's said otherwise a dozen times now. Even if he insists she's done nothing worth making up for.
So when Emily brings up the letters Cherri Bomb and Sir Pentious are exchanging, Charlie thinks she's found just the thing.
There's just...one or two things she hasn't really thought out about this plan, like how he might react to holding a letter from his long-dead mother, or whether she was really doing this for him when the mother she wants to hold a letter from the most is her own.

He blamed Vincent. Had the man entered Alastor's home infected, spreading germs as easily as he spat out inane insults? Well, not exactly. Vincent was and remained the picture perfect of a healthy, if aging, man.
Alastor resolved to blame him anyway. It made his foggy head feel slightly better, even as his thoughts slowed like molasses dripping from an overturned jar.
