Criminally underrated fic that beautifully wraps up the remaining strands from their event as an epilogue to both their stories. I'd like to imagine this as canon, so the open-endedness of the ending is also really nice for anyone that wants to expand on them in the future, either platonically or otherwise.
I wish both of these characters would get way more love, but if this happens to be the last thing anyone write involving these two, I think I'd still be pretty satisfied.

Holy fucking shit, even ignoring how the whole fic has the characters and plot align really well with canon and in many aspects greatly expands on it in a meaningful and logical way, it does this incredible thing where al the inner turmoil and angst of the characters are set up on a golden platter to be dissected and understood. Mainly it's about the familial and romantic relationships that characters have and all the ugly and beautiful stuff that comes with both in a way that's really realistic and relatable, if I had to describe all 300k (which didn't feel like it at all) words in as shortened a way as possible then it'd be giving closure and a happy ending to all the Death Note characters in a non-handfisty way!
tl;dr it deserves all the praise that it gets and if you were to ever read a fanfiction, this is one of the most definitive ones in showing how amazing this medium is
