A Grockdrian Fic written for one of my best friend's late birthday. I can't tell which of us is more unwell by this pair of wayward space blobs.

Set a few weeks before Rocky and Grace make it to Erid. Orbiting Erid while they try to figure out how to save Grace. A race to save the Human.
Once on Erid, they have to navigate a life around and without each other. Their bumps and bruises and trauma may pull them apart, or bring them closer together. Oh, and they're trying not to blow up Erid with Grace's need for oxygen.

It reminds him of one of the first things Rocky ever made for him, the oxygen rings representing his atmosphere. This time there’s just a single ring; the circumference is probably around seven inches, and instead of an iridescent blue the beads are solid xenonite, polished to a high shine. Each bead has a symbol — a letter, Ryland realises.
“It’s beautiful,” Ryland says with wonder. He traces his fingers over the raised writing. The beads are still warm. He finally looks up at Rocky. “What does it say?”
Rocky taps the wall and doesn’t answer.
“Rock?”
“You remember Friends season two episode 14?” Rocky says suddenly.
