This is genuinely one of the most beautiful things I have ever read. Like I actually think this is one of the greatest things I’ve ever read. Comparable to A Separate Peace, most definitely. I love this so much, I can barely put it into words. The role reversal between Finny and Gene is executed so ingeniously, and I am crazy over all the character development! This fic has stood out to me as possibly the best in this fandom that I’ve read, and it definitely stands among the fics I consider the greatest works I’ve ever read. Keep doing your thing, author! I can’t wait for what comes next :)
