“Is that…?” Vincent trailed off, still not processing the scene in front of him.
“A dead body.” Alastor finished his sentence, he appeared more calm than his roommate. “It seems so.”
“What do we do?”
Alastor grabbed Vincent’s hand, making his heterochromic friend stiffen up. “We go back to our dorm, pretend we didn’t see it, and come up with some kind of alibi.”
The sudden sound of a police siren in the distance made the two young men jump.
“Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!”

Alastor Benoit is looking forward to starting college and studying Media, that is until he meets his roommate, Vincent Whittman, a Business Major who stares at him too much for Alastor's liking. The two are somewhat cordial, friendly even, that is until the two stumble upon a dead body in the bayou behind the college. The body is discovered by the police soon after and they must keep their secret under wraps best they can.

They all watched him fall— The funny, comic relief character. How ironic was that? The one who told jokes with a beaming smile now hid amongst pillows with sorrow.
They were probably laughing at him outside of the pillowfort, Jax decided with a scoff, squinting at the light coming out of the pillowfort. Somebody must’ve forgotten to cover the entrance.
Whatever.
Jax looked down, feeling the familiar yet odd glitchness of his animalistic limbs, his multiple eyes opening and closing— arrays of colour filling the corners of his vision, reminding him of the depiction of people being high.
It was rare to think, Jax had come to terms with that. The abstraction was like a mind of its own, commanding for blood and violence in an animalistic tone.
And all he could really do was wait for that opening, wait for the cage to creak open ever so slightly so he could feel human again, even if it was never noticeable by whoever was around him.---
OR: Pomni and the rest are persistent in constantly talking to Jax, unaware that he's listening in with complete consciousness, slowly regaining his sanity with each one sided conversation.Bookmarked by Crowclouding

Summary
Three years after the events of 'Hello and Goodbye,' Ragatha must return home to pay her final respects and organize her mother's funeral. However, despite Ragatha's best efforts, she cannot help but dwell upon all that has transpired and wonders where she went wrong.
As for Jax, while he attempts to move on, the demons of his past are impossible for him to every truly forget. And somewhere along the line, both Ragatha and Jax realize that perhaps, they both have more in common than either would have ever realized.

Zooble shrugs. "Life… Things have been weird… Seeing old friends, getting what stuff I had left. It doesn't feel real."
Jax nods. "Ah, yeah, I've been doing… A lot of the same… old friends and such…" He pulls out his phone to scroll through videos again.
"Looking for the others again?" they ask.
"Yeah… You'd think Pomni would change her name on YouTube… I mean… Surely she'd know I'd look for her on it… But nope. No Pomni channels," he sighs and puts it away again.
