Summary
My home was an edgeless snowy field.
I had never seen any other landscape, but somehow I knew this place was special. Here, above the endless wasteland, a vast, deep-black sky towered, and the ground was covered with a blanket of small white letters.
I felt safe among them. Wherever I went, Stories unfolded. They spread under my feet like ink blots, line by line, and I watched with rapture as the words appeared and disappeared one by one. This was my favorite and only entertainment. I could spend countless months and years reading, while the field around me filled with other people's footprints.
As far back as I can remember, my father was always there.
He wore a red coat, a bright flash of color burning through the unstained paper, like an unbridled flame threatening to burn the manuscripts to the ground. With a gentle gait, he rustled syllables and sentences, leisurely outlining invisible paths of footprints on the fields. In his bright eyes, the glare of the night sky played, and barely perceptible sparks danced with devilish grins, echoing the eternal smile stretched across his lips.

Ivan suggests they watch porn together. For some reason, Till agrees, and the videos Ivan picks are...weird. The actors bear a strange resemblance to himself and Ivan. It's inspiring, but not in the way Till anticipated it being.
“Teenage boys watch pornography together all the time,” Ivan confirms. His expression doesn’t waver even a little bit. He is serious, isn’t he?
“Can you at least say ‘porn’ like a normal person?” Till folds his legs up into his chair, propping his chin up on his knees. Ivan’s fingers fly over the keys, his mouse glides smoothly across the branded pad that came with the computer, and he opens his web browser. When he types ‘porn’ into the address bar, there are no suggested websites that appear. He either never watches it, or he clears his history every time like a creepy stalker freak.
Ivan adds ‘ography’ to the end of the word before he hits enter. Till despises him. Really and truly, he hates Ivan.

The hunger grows stronger in his veins, replacing blood with water. Till shifts, gaze boring into Ivan’s, and suddenly that water is evaporating with the heat threatening to consume him. An ache in him grows tenfold, a ravenous need pooling wet and warm against his lashes. Till’s fingers in him curl, and Ivan sees stars. It’s perfect, it’s not enough, it’s Till, and he wants nothing more than to have everything Till has. His hands strain harder against the bindings, and Till’s thumb presses consolingly down on his lips.
“Shhh, baby, I’ve got you. Just breathe, okay? I’ll give you what you need.”

“Death.” The boy says and Death’s smiles, all sharp teeth and glowering eyes that instil fear in everything living. The humans who had summoned him before this child had all but cowered in his presence, words failing them as they trembled in fear before him. But, this child held no such regard. The boy’s green eyes gleamed with fascination.
“Yes, child. You have summoned me.” Death acknowledges, and the boy’s eyes widen at the confirmation. “What is it that you want from me?”
He can already make the assumptions. From all his years of existing, Death knows what mortals want from him. Vitality, longevity and power. He peers down at the small frame of the young boy, who seems to hesitate momentarily, before taking in a deep breath.
The boy looks up at him, his eyes determined and Death wonders what the boy plans on asking him. Would it be wealth, riches, fantasies? The boy opens his mouth and speaks,
“Will you be my friend?”
“…Huh?”
Or.
Adrien meets Plagg when he was a child. This changes everything and yet nothing at all.
