The Warrior of Light (Eleonora, female Raen Au Ra) and Hien listen to the story of an elder Au Ra man about the creation of the world according to the Xaela tribe of the Oronir to learn more about the tribe they seek to make ties with, and in so doing, Eleonora learns more about the legends her Xaela father and grandmother told her growing up. A snippet that I intend to include in my long fic, but was inspired to write all on its own as a one-shot for today.
Also, since it's me we're talking about, I snuck some loose allusions to the Ancients in there. I couldn't resist!

Eleonora came to Eorzea to find answers. What happened to her after the fall of Dalamud? Why do these strange yet mundane dreams of a life not her own haunt her in her sleep? Who is the man in the red mask she sees night after night? Why is she so freakishly powerful? And why, when she dies, does she reappear, hale and whole, by the nearest aetheryte?
The story of a Warrior of Light inspired by my replay of the game after finishing Endwalker.
(I'm gonna warn y'all now, it won't happen for a while, but this is going to become a hero/villain fic. There will be some Morally Questionable Choices in her romantic partners!)
