Summary
There's something nostalgic about being on a rooftop above the rest of the city. Feeling the cool evening breeze brush against his cheeks, Kaeya gazes up at the stars, recalling a simpler time when he didn't even know about their existence.
He takes a long sigh. Life has been more peaceful lately.
Almost too peaceful.
There's something about it that bugs him. Not that he prefers drama— it's just that something feels off when everything's going right.
The thought makes Kaeya anxious. He'd rather be in control of the narrative, instead of waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Or maybe he's just bored. Mondstadt has no doubt experienced the ill effects of Kaeya Alberich when he has too much time on his hands. After all, a restless Cavalry Captain is a dangerous thing. Especially one with an inkling of a plan and the ability to forge documents.
Alternatively: Kaeya gets impatient with the speed at which Diluc and Eula are progressing in their "almost" relationship, so he tries to play wingman.
Little does he know what happens when one attempts to control the narrative.

Summary
She tugs on Escoffier’s arm, beckoning her to the battlefield, which now looks like a storm had torn through an egg farm, shattered shells and liquid yolks everywhere. Kaeya watches as they simultaneously freeze and egg their enemies into oblivion, loud cackling continuing to echo throughout the domain.
He shudders at the thought of Furina being on his team, although he knows with the right prodding, he could possibly harness and unleash that chaos on others instead. Like his brother, for one, who was probably a part of this setup. And maybe even Albedo… how else did Escoffier get into his apartment?
There isn't enough wine in Mondstadt for me to handle your chaos, he wants to say. But he knows that saying it aloud would be giving Furina the satisfaction, so he says nothing, merely continuing to eat in silence.
For now.
Alternatively: A spontaneous, "hot potato" type of collaboration filled with the antics of two chaotic main characters and a bunch of their loved ones who get pulled into their crazy shenanigans.

Eyes widening slightly as it hits him, Albedo mirrors her frown. "I see… if you are referring to the recent behavior of our partners, which I believe you are, then yes, I have been experiencing something rather troubling, as you say."
Eula heads toward the couch and takes a seat, crossing one leg over the other. "I know they don't quite see eye to eye," she begins with a sigh. "But it seems something happened a few nights ago, and I'd like to get to the bottom of it."
Albedo bites down on his lower lip. "I see what you mean—just to be sure; are you referring to their, ah, exchange during truth or dare the other night? It certainly did get rather tense, at a point."
"Precisely."
Alternatively: After an eventful night at Angel’s Share among friends, Albedo and Eula must deal with the aftermath of mutual misunderstandings and unspoken tension between their partners.
They decide to intervene before it gets worse.

“Traitor.” Diluc snarled. “Disturbing everyone and just committing suicide without any accountability for his actions.” He took a heavy breath, taking a rough sip of his drink. “What a coward.”
Under the table, Kaeya’s hand unconsciously grabbed his scarred wrist.

Or, to summarize, after hearing Diluc's opinion on Eroch's suicide, Kaeya can't help but be ashamed of himself, afraid of what Diluc would think of him if he knew the truth.
