“I switched with Ellis,” She said. “So, you’re stuck with me for the next three days.” Her steps faltered. “Finally?”
“Are you serious? I’ve been trying to poach you from day shift since PittFest.”
“Really?”
“Really.” His response was almost instant. “You were incredible. The IO borehole, the pigtail catheter; I’m going to be talking about that for the rest of my life. Of course I want you for night shift.”

She's been haunted by the possibility that she had it wrong, or at least not all right where Captain James Hook was concerned, and on top of that her family is champing at the bit to marry her off. When Peter turns up with the opportunity to escape back to Neverland is offered, she takes it. What might happen?
Hook/Adult Wendy, based largely on the book and especially the 2003 film starring Jason Isaacs as Hook. Rated T for language.
I started this story almost 20 years ago and life got in the way, but I’ve recently decided to come back to it. The first step was to give it a bit of a polish and cleanup, so what’s here now is an updated version of what I published on ff.net in 2007-2008. The story has not changed, but some of the writing has, hopefully, been improved! Please see the opening author note for more information.
