And for some reason, his secretary Starscream is acting more surly than usual.

I am not lying when i say this is one of the best fics i have ever read in my life. One day, I'll print this out and put it on my bookshelf. I genuinely sat down and read this for two hours because i couldn't get my eyes off it. This fic will linger beautifully in the back of my consciousness until I die and I am OKAY with that. I can't express how much I love this fic unless i start using expletives, that's how good it is.
Chapter 1 intrigued me and pulled me into this universe immediately.
Chapter 7 gave me goosebumps
Chapter 10 became my favourite immediately.
and every subsequent chapter left an impression that i can't put into wordsPLEASE, READ THIS. It's a 10/10.
If Ao3 had a pin feature, I'd pin this to my account and regularly bump it if I could. I've fallen in love with the world, and I'm sad it's come to an end, and that i finished all 13 chapters in one sitting. But, above all else I am glad I started reading this in the first place. -

Speechless honestly.The first chapter has me hooked and hooked BAD.
I just.
WowIs this because I have a thing for praise kinks??? No, the writing itself was so good. Megatron's characterisation here, how he knows he contradicts himself yet keeps pushing simply because starscream's reactions garner so much intrigue -- the way starscream folds under his affectionate praising -- it's simply phenomenal and I'm glad I took the time to read this.
I see warnings for valveplug up ahead, but going by virtue of chapter one alone I am happy to say this is the sort of fluff I wish to read after a tired day. I can imagine the scenes so well in my head it's like I'm watching it, not reading. Truly a great read just from chapter one alone. Highly recommend. -

Ouhhhh, really good. Not quite Goon material personally but I really like the characterisation and story here. Usually in fanon the trine is quite imbalanced, by virtue of starscream's personality, but here it feels like skywarp and thundercracker are equals with him. It's a nice read, though the mention of skyfire in the end does ruin it a bit for me, considering that starscream wouldn't really want skyfire back either, but canon be damned, OP can write.

Honest to goodness Skystar is one of my least favourite ships, yet something about WFC, and his characterisation here in general, is so alluring. Less valveplug and more like uber tension but that doesnt make it any less better. that line of starscream saying Jetfire is better off as an autobot is a neat easter egg.

Aww, so cute. Yes, its not beta-ed, rough around the edges, but it gets the message across well. There's body language, there's hesitation, there's silence and effective dialogue --- For something so short, the amount of sweetness and fluff you get is triple the word count. 10/10 simply for how earnest it is.

Now he only had mere hours. Not that he could care. He stopped caring a week ago, maybe even a month ago. But he used to care. He did, just not anymore.
Starscream gives up and slowly reaches his demise... Until Megatron rips him off from the clutches of death. Starscream, of course, has a problem with that.

I'm on like chapter three but so far this has been so fun to read lmao, it's so goofy and self aware, and it fits perfectly within the TFP characterisations. Starscream's kinda pathetic in the positive way and Knock Out is entertaining. Megatron... He's kind of a big soft guy now ? I can see it, after his Unicron fiasco he definitely did some (?) reflection. It's hard to imagine him being gentle and smiling and such,, but I can definitely imagine him being more apologetic. The timeline is all messy, true, but fan aus are so much more fun when the writer doesn't heed to canon. Lfg amazing fic will continue later

In a Cybertron ruled not by Functionism, but by the power structure that keeps all minibots enslaved to the "real" mecha, a little yellow bug is purchased from the minibot slave academy by Optimus Prime. Bumblebee, the perfect image of an eager, obedient slave, wants nothing more than to be good for his master. Optimus, who's been working with his allies on advocating for minibot rights, was expecting to find Bumblebee desperate to escape the system and live as a free bot. Bumblebee can't even imagine wanting anything of the kind.
