   Summary

   A Velvet awakens on the cold, hard ground, covered in blood and its head split wide open. Cognition and reality blur together in a messy cacophony. It knows very little, but what it does know is HOW to survive... or is that gone, too, just another grain of sand slipping through the gaps of its paws as it tries to fight the hourglass of life?
