Who else could be a better choice for the job?The only problem is, that despite his stoic facade and calm demeanor, Neuvillette's cracking under the pressure; his draconic insticts and newfound realisation of his feelings for a certain Duke of Meropide don't help but increase the load on his shoulders which already sag with exhaustion.

The rain littered down the windows in streaks of silver and blue, the tears of the heavens, which not only accompanied Neuvillette's but the emotions of all the people of Fontaine.
He remembers it like it was yesterday; the crystalline sword that killed Focalors, his longest friend, his mentor. The rush of the cold wind across his scale-covered cheeks as he flew towards the sky to stop the prophecy from coming true, stinging in a way that was reminiscent to the ache in his heart.
It was just him, the rain and the sea.
