    And if that meant washing scratched up dishes and scrubbing old blood from the tile grout at Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls, then so be it.

    But then one night, his skin turned blue.

    All he's ever wanted was to be a hero. Maybe he should be careful what he wishes for, because now Izuku finds himself with otherworldly powers after an accident that nearly kills him, and a lot more to deal with than the typical wannabe hero.

    With the normal ways to be a hero blocked by those who seek to tear him down, Izuku has to go in a different way in order to become the hero he's always dreamed to be. And, hey, if his powers aren't technically a quirk, then he's not technically breaking the law by being a vigilante, right?

And something seriously weird is going on with One For All, or All Might didn't tell him everything it did. Something has to explain why his senses seem to be acting so strangely. No way he had a Quirk already, right?

    In this universe, Izuku got to the fight just a few minutes quicker, and moved without thinking.
    And got shot by a Quirk-erasing bullet.
    Things don't go as they should.

     

    OR: An odd crack and angst ramble of a one-shot in which I sat down and went, 'Would Deku actually lose One for All, since he doesn't have a Quirk Factor?' And decided the answer was no.

    Summary

    “I thought I was the only Avenger with kids,” Clint says.

    “Scott has a daughter.” Natasha pours herself coffee. “Katy, right? No, Cassie.”

    Clint gives her a dirty look. “You could’ve told me. They’re so similar, Tasha. I mean, Jesus.”

    “Wait,” says Natasha. “You actually think—”

    “Hey, Nat,” says Peter, looking up from the waffle iron for the first time. “Do you want a waffle? I think Mr. Stark has some whipped cream, and I have skittles and gummy bears to add flavor and texture.”

     

    OR: The Avengers meet Spiderman via the online world and then meet Peter Parker in Stark's living room. It takes them longer than it should to put two-and-two together.
