Summary
Dear Friends,
Sometimes there are stories that don't fit into the other books. Sometimes they are besides the point and so aren't meant to be told just then. There are some stories that you're not ready to hear, until one day you are. And there are also stories still that you have already heard but yet want to be told in a new, different way. Many of our friends from the Region have such stories, and now these stories have their own book they fit in. -

Thomas is a tank engine who lives at a Big Station on the Island of Sodor. He could eat a whole bowl of alphabet soup and then vomit up the vowels and consonants separately! He could speak seven languages, but unfortunately he was disliked in all those countries.

Summary
Bea Porter-Blanchet, after two years of mindless copywriting in the attic of the Hamlyn "O" Courant, is finally promoted to the downstairs City desk in late 1959 where she'll work alongside (the tall) Arthur Hastings, (the inquisitive) Gemma Olsen, (the irritating) Danny Defoe, (the dull) Clive Hamilton, and (the dour) Mary Ann Evans and Currer Bell. While she juggles her new workplace friendships (and not-so-friendships) she must distract from an increasingly pressing issue that'll require coming to terms with past regrets.
Marked Mature for swearing and drug use consistent with the WHF universe. But if you enjoy office drama trivialities and a seemingly pointless story that may eventually have a point, please read on.

I am here for those microcosm relationships between characters who have nothing more than a name and a job title to work off of.

In old days, Cookie think, just having monsters on television was spooky. Monsters doing classy drama was transgressive. Transgressive mean it a thing that people not expect you to do, and they think you strange when you do it. It special kind of surprise.
