Summary
The lives of the crew of the Long Shot are statistically ridiculous. They've travelled over sixteen light-years to answer a three-decade-old distress call from a dying planet. They expected to find any number of things upon arrival at 40 Eridani, but being greeted by a human voice certainly wasn't on the list.
Dr Ryland Grace says they're welcome. He says the problem has already been solved, and everything's fine, and so, in fact, is Earth. But all they know about Ryland Grace is that he left on a suicide mission ten years before they launched. And they're not so sure they should be taking a dead man at face value.
OR: The Eridians have learned to safely host a human, despite every barrier of language and instinct. Now they just need to do it with seven more. At least, this time, they have Grace's help, right?

Grace and Rocky have both been enjoying their time together on Erid. Rocky and Adrian are expecting children and Grace continues to teach at his school. The road to their mental recovery is still ongoing but it’s a journey they’re making together.
The people of Erid love them both but there is one who believes that Rocky doesn’t deserve to have the Saviour Grace as his friend… in fact they believe that they would be a better companion for Grace, he just doesn’t know it yet…

Summary
Grace doesn't have a very good estimation of himself. He has no idea how much people genuinely like him, especially (most) of the people involved in this project. Ikukhina meets him, finds him adorable, and immediately decides to adopt him. Yáo is the only one who can even somewhat contain her but finds himself also somehow adopting Grace in the process.
Then Grace wakes up with amnesia.
What happens when Grace remembers he was sent against his will? What happens when he still meets Rocky first, they still have to go to Erid, and now the three of them have to duke it out for custody/best friend rights of Grace?
Updates every other day and has a heavy focus on the initial trio friendship before Rocky shows up, so it'll be a while before we meet our favorite alien spider rock
