Summary
Jayluf Viller is a completely human teenager that sometimes feels like he's... something not human, especially in his dreams where he's flying across space. His previous life has been stolen away from his memories by an unknown perpetrator. But that doesn't matter, since he's trained to become a hero by applying for UA, the Number One Hero School! Sure, there's some speed bumps, like his very strange quirk, and the fact he had never been exposed to the outside world before, having lived a very sheltered life under the strict eye of white coated scientists and researchers in a laboratory. Now being ushered by his caretakers into a world with new things and faces he'd never known before, he must try his best to use his strange "quirk" to become a hero, and maybe discover more about who, or more importantly... WHAT he is, or where he came from.

It wasn’t the cold or the bright light bleeding through his eyelids that finally woke Toshinori. It was the smell. Sickly and sterile and metallic with an undercurrent of latex. He could never forget the smell of a hospital.
Toshinori was on his knees, hunched forward and held up by the tension in his arms. He hissed as he pulled himself up. Sharp pains shot through his shoulders and down his spine, his back and shoulder muscles spasming as they settled back into place. Something rattled and dragged loud and low.
Chains. He was shackled and chained to the wall.

Summary
Toshinori reaches a hand, the one that is shattered beyond repair and drenched in blood. He gives a smile to the boy. He can feel blood smeared across his teeth. He can't imagine his smile is any reassurance, but Toshinori is dying and desperate. A piss-poor smile is all he can give.
A piss-poor smile, and an earth-shattering quirk.
'I have a healing quirk,' he lies, begging the boy with his eyes. Please, say yes. Please accept my DNA. 'It only works on others. Let me h-help you? I won't last.' Toshinori's words come more and more haltingly. He can feel cold darkness encroaching on his limbs already. He tilts his hand, just slightly, just enough to renew his offer to the boy. 'At-At least… Not long enough… For help to arrive in time.'

Yagi Toshinori gets caught in a building collapse in his powered-down form. As he lays dying and without a successor, he offers his quirk to a young boy who is trapped alongside him.
All Might never makes it out of the building. But Midoriya Izuku does.
With no parent and a new limb-breaking quirk, he becomes a ward of UA.
