    There’s a silence across the classroom, and then, uproar.

    There is only one student in the room who’s not yelling. Rather than screaming at their fellow students or at their teacher in denial, disbelief, or rage, they’re crying to themselves. Tears fall freely down their face as sobs wrack their body.

    Because they know Midoriya isn’t the mole that’s been feeding the villains information.

    They are.

    Or: an author had been having Feelings(TM) about the traitor reveal and the Suspected Traitor AU's they have been rereading and this is the result.

    Dark Link tries to keep the incredulous disbelief from his voice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how idiotic this plan or his master is being. If that was what Demise wanted, that would be what it got. Demise did not accept disobedience. Or failure.

    Which is how Dark finds himself staring down the blades of nine heroes, wondering why this is his life.

    “So,” he begins. “Sorry ‘bout the whole, uh, trying to kill you repeatedly for millennia thing.” For some reason, this makes the heroes tense further. “…No hard feelings?”
