It doesn’t go unnoticed to Jiang Cheng that Lan Xichen has sneakily slipped in the fact that he knows who Wei Wuxian is to Jiang Cheng, even though that information wasn’t volunteered.

Ah, how can he put this delicately without sounding preposterous? “By trouble I mean in the form of attention.” A pause. “Lots of attention. Possibly in the form of, uh, seasoned gentlemen.”

Summary
It was not until Lan Wangji left that what affection for him was simmering within Wei Wuxian finally filled him up without release. Without Lan Wangji there with him, to talk to and to tease or even maybe to (unconsciously) flirt with, Wei Wuxian had nothing but memories of him and enough cold nights to desire more than just that remembered warmth.
Wei Wuxian needs Lan Wangji inside a room of an inn, and gods help them if they don't get there soon.
