Izuku's known his neighbor for a rather long time. She was the one that taught him how to sew, bake tasty treats, and even pick out the perfect fabric for any project he might happen to be inspired by.
So it comes as a rather big surprise when she gives him a magical jewelry box filled with mini-gods and artifacts of indescribable power, each connected to a different existing aspect of reality itself.
After-all, she was just a frail old woman. Why would she need to be jumping around the rooftops?
But now that he's the guardian as they've started calling him, he can hopefully use these god powers for good!
Maybe even be a hero with it!
After-all, he had talked for hours and hours about doing so while Quirkless to Marinette...
So why can't he still do so with a bit of help?

Take Midoriya Izuku. Change things so that he idolises villains for how they inspire heroes. Give him an impetus to develop super science. Watch the exploits of a SUPER VILLAIN.
Or:
Izuku's personality remains the same but instead of heroes he is a villain otaku who believes in the narrative convention that a hero is defined by their villains.
So he decides to provide the heroes with a better class of villain to help the heroes improve.
Not very serious. Inspired by works like THE TECHNO QUEEN and Megamind.
