When Grian joins Mumbo working at The Hermit Coffee Co., he is thrown into a world of caffiene and chaos, with meddling co-workers, rambunctious regulars, and an absolutely henious amount of group chats. The friends he left back home miss him, Mumbo's college friends (cough, frat bros, cough) keep pestering him, and his new friendship with a certain scarred individual is developing in a way he never expected.
Will he be able to shake off the meddling redstoners? What will happen when there are two potential romances blossoming on either side of him? And will these baristas ever stop texting each other and just make me my goddamn soy-milk capuccino?

The trip between seasons isn’t easy- to reach a new world you must reach it by foot. Void travel is not without its dangers, so it is no surprise Xisuma wouldn’t allow most of them to risk the journey without help. That being said, Etho is not most of them. He's got his ways to make sure he won't lose sight of home. That doesn't mean it won't be dangerous, but Etho's sure it will be fine.
Bdubs is just confused. Well fine, concerned too. Brand new season, Etho's nowhere to be seen, and suddenly he starts talking to him in his dreams? He just hopes Etho gets home soon, he's an idiot for traveling alone and making everyone worried. Once he's back, Bdubs can finally get some decent sleep! And well, if Bdubs misses the guy too... no one needs to know.

The message had been the last one sent via the communicator and it had been from two days ago. Grian had not thought much of it the moment he received the death message, as it was normal for Scar to die multiple times a day. But Grian had not heard anything from Scar after that. He had not seen him go around Boatem, had not seen him at the ever growing chest monster behind his house, had not seen him say anything via the communicator. Where had his friend gone off to? And why did it seem like the communicator had not been working for the past two days?
Something weird was going on.

The doorbell chimes cheerfully, and Wilbur draws his attention to the door.
“That’s probably the pizza.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it is. I’ll get it.” Wilbur plucks Techno’s wallet from the side table and crosses the space between the living room and the front door, nudging his shoes aside in favor of answering the door.
Wilbur opens the door, creaky hinges and all, and stops. Gilded in the moth light is a boy- young and old at the same time, a golden halo dirtied and worn. His eyes are familiar- a sight he had not seen in three years time.
Wilbur stares at his little brother, who stares right back. Then he shifts, taps a toe on the ground, and clears his throat.
“I didn’t.. I didn’t know where else to go.”

Three years ago Wilbur's foster brother ran away without a trace. Wilbur never quite got over it, but was forced to move on with his life, certain he'd never see him again- until Tommy reappears on his doorstep one fateful Tuesday. Healing ensues.
