Percy was four years old the first time his dreams led him to his many-great-grandmother’s chambers- a woman long dead yet somehow still seated in front of him, fingers grasping at her hair tightly as she wails about a wooden horse on the beach while her servants look on in pity. He feels the weight of something ancient and heavy settle on his shoulders in that moment.
He was in his 1st grade classroom when his teacher screamed at him for making up lies about gods and monsters and scaring the other children. He was eight when his mother's own visions become too much for her to bear.
He's at Yancy when Grover Underwood finally finds him and says "I believe you" for the first time. And as Percy begins to feel lighter, that ancient weight that has followed him his whole life slowly dissipating, he realizes that being believed can be just as horrifying as being thought mad.

very good writing. nice and interesting takes on both new things and some popular themes of pjo. seer percy. likes purple. talk about monsters. nice interactions with gods.

Summary
Upon arriving at university, Ushijima Wakatoshi resigns himself to life without his team behind him, starting back at square one as just another first year in his new team, leaving his reserved family miles away, and giving up waiting for his father to reach out to him. He even tries to get past Oikawa and the possibility of ever befriending his prideful rival.
He's an adult now and it's time to be realistic and let those hopes fade away.And then Oikawa Tooru walks into his university's gymnasium.
Or, Ushijima and Tooru learn to exist together as teammates, friends, and a secret third thing :)

I LOVED IT. ITS CUTE. AMAZING INTERACTIONS. Right amount of pining and slow burn, really really nice. Good interactions and good side characters too.
