Summary
(Yes, it’s both a Jane Eyre and an Omegaverse reference)
Years after a bad breakup, Balthazar thinks it’s been far too long since his friend got laid. But Castiel, ever the romantic, has never been one to hook up at a bar for heat sex, and isn't ready to dive into another relationship. So with Castiel’s heat approaching Balthazar takes the opportunity to urge his friend to go the "clinical" route and visit Pitch Black the amazing new facility in the city of Lawrence he’d found assuring him "the best part is, no strings attached, Cassie! Their Alphas are vetted by medical professionals but everything is completely anonymous, so no worries about getting tangled up in any pesky relationships.”
After a particularly uncomfortable night at home with a fake knot, Castiel relents and decides to give Pitch Black a try.
After all, what could possibly go wrong?

Summary
This is the day that marked the Holy and Blessed Union of Dean Winchester and Jo Harvelle.
The merging of prominent bloodlines is always a grand occurrence, but breeding pedigree hunter families like Winchester and Harvelle is something to be rejoiced. It is also something to be meticulously planned, which thankfully the Host is very good at.
Or, the romantic comedy where Dean Winchester and Jo Harvelle are destined to get married, Castiel is given the task of playing matchmaker and fails terribly, the entire Heavenly Host becomes a sitcom audience, God warns against male pregnancy, and Jimmy Novak is incredibly unimpressed with angels in general.

Dean Winchester, a star football player who died on the field in the late 90s, is among the group of spirits who are trapped in the school. For decades, Dean and the other spirits have been attempting to help one another figure out their unfinished business so that they can each move on; however, Castiel has always hated participating in group projects.

Summary
St. Jude Thaddeus: Catholic patron saint of desperate situations, hopeless cases, and lost causes
Jud periodically has this dream where he’s in a car that’s hurtling down the highway, weaving in between cars and swerving at sharp angles. He’s speeding towards an inevitable fiery crash. The obvious solution is to stop and try and gain control of the vehicle, but there’s a truck barreling behind him and he’s keeping ahead of it by a hair. Slowing down at all means an instant, devastating impact.
In this dream, he tries every solution he can think of. If he stops, the truck hits him. If he keeps going, he hits the median. He dies either way. Each way of dying is equally agonizing. He bleeds out while the car burns around him or he breaks his neck and punctures a lung, laying paralyzed while his lungs fill with blood.
The irony is that he’s at peace. No matter his decision, the end is the same. It used to frustrate him, but now there’s a serenity of things being out of his hands.
He’d told Langstrom as much before the man went to Rome and his face screwed up. “That’s not what I meant by surrender, Jud,” he’d chided.Bookmarked by EarthGirlSass
