Ever since the adventure where they all got guns, Ragatha has noticed some changes in the group, specifically with Jax and Pomni’s friendship suddenly falling apart, no doubt Jax pushed Pomni away in some way. She knows she shouldn’t step in too much, but it wouldn’t hurt to try even a little right?

The halls of the Circus dormitory are barren; Gangle had been sure to check before leaving her room. Even though Jax was only a few doors away, she had always preferred making the walk to his room a solitary one. Maybe it made it easier to pretend that it was just them. Not that she disliked the others, but Jax was different. He was special. He was the only person that she truly adored. It astounds her to think about the fact that years ago, she had wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.
