“Yeah.” Taehyung watches a few errant leaves drift around the bottom of his mug. “Or just like. That part about you being the personification for the concept of fate again?”
“Well, that’s not quite it,” Jungkook mutters. “It’s more like… I’m the human vessel for it. I help carry out Fate's tasks."

He doesn’t explain what he means with ‘this’, but Taehyung understands perfectly. He feels his heart skip a beat, literally. He closes his eyes, overcome by emotion again. He thinks he may actually be trembling.
He presses his forehead to Jungkook’s and breathes back, “Me too, baby.”

"I think there are things worse than death, personally." Taehyung says. The emptiness that manifests inside of me when I sleep alone in a bed I cannot fill by myself, the gaps in the human memory, the foolish need to care for things, caring is what he doesn't say.
"I think you need to become the main voice-over for my documentary. You have some interesting thoughts the world can benefit from." Jeongguk smiles at him and the force of it is as good as a touch. Mere presence is enough, Taehyung finds himself remembering.
He smiles back.

Jeongguk doesn't like the name "witcher". It has been spit out at him with venom and hatred, because no one cared for his real name, because you don't give a name to a wild beast. But it sounds so sweet in Taehyung's mouth, like a term of endearment. Something like honey, darling, something like "my lovely witcher" and "Gguk", and Jeongguk, eyes closed, wonders how it’s possible for Taehyung to ruin him with a few syllables.
