Summary

Summary
How did he end up here? On a rooftop, trying desperately to convince himself not to take that final step? He met his all-time favorite hero, he should be happy, but all he feels is an overwhelming sense of despair. All Izuku has ever wanted was to be like All Might, to save people with a smile, but that can never happen. He's too weak. Even All Might thinks so.
He thinks back to the last time anyone told him he would make a great hero, or even just that they were proud of him. He can't remember. He doesn't think those words have ever been said to him. (At least, not since he got that terrible diagnosis at only four years old.) Is he so useless that they can't even lie about it?
Maybe Kacchan was right. He'd be doing everyone a favor if he jumped. Kacchan would be a great hero without a stupid Deku following him and holding him back, and his mom would shed a few tears before moving on with her life, finally free from her poor excuse of a son.
Izuku is suddenly pulled out of his thoughts by a quiet thump behind him. He freezes; nobody is supposed to be up here.
