Chuuya sighed, trying with a different, much sweeter approach. “I need to know so I can tell how bad this is. You must be feeling really yucky, yeah?”
Dazai turned slowly, black-shunted irises staring up at him. He hesitated, then looked away.
“Don’t do that,” he whispered.
“Do what?”
“Pitying me.”
Chuuya swallowed, the weight on his chest nearly painful. He steadied himself and cupped Dazai’s flushed cheek, thumb brushing slow, grounding circles.
“It’s not… pity,” he replied quietly.

Summary
Dazai and Chuuya certainly didn’t have the most normal relationship dymanic.
For Dazai, the way he treated Chuuya as a lover felt completely the same as how he treated Chuuya before they became a couple.

Summary
Dazai looks nervous, and Chuuya can’t crack why. He definitely looks wrong, though, like he’s about to jump out of his skin.
Which does happen when something makes a particularly loud noise outside. Dazai’s head whips in that direction, his whole body tenses, and he clutches the plushie in his arms like letting it go would mean sudden death.
“You’re scared,” Chuuya realizes. “You’re scared of this, why didn’t you tell me?”
/or: dazai is scared of sleeping in the woods so chuuya cuddles him to sleep

Summary
