The mech shook their helm, "Nope. Nothing really happens here. Mostly I just lie back in the pillows and wait until it's time to wake up. That's why I was so surprised to see you here."
"So, when you wake up it's back in the real world?"
"Back in my quarters on the ARK yes."
"You were on the ARK?!" Optimus whirled to stare at this strange mech.
"Why, yes, me and all the other autobots. We've been living out of it since we crashed landed on the planet earth," he stated placing his servos on his hips.
That didn't make any sense. Sentinel Prime had taken the ARK during his escape, and as far as Optimus knew there wasn't any crew on board. And what this mech mean by the rest of the autobots? The faction had been scattered to the stars since leaving Cybertron.
"Oh wait, where are my manners? I haven't even asked for your designation," The strange mech stated, holding out a servo to shake, "My name is Optimus Prime, it's a pleasure too meet you!"

Summary
Rumi looks down. “Your soul,” she whispers mournfully, enraptured by the blue light trickling out of his chest. “It’s beautiful.”
Jinu smiles.
Gently, he presses his forehead against hers. Rumi jolts, eyes widening, but to his relief, she doesn’t pull away.
“My soul,” he echoes softly. “It’s yours, now.”
Rumi opens her mouth, but no words escape her as she gapes at him. A tear cascades down her cheek.
“It’s mine to give, and yours to take, if you’ll have me.” His vision is blurring, and so he lets his eyes fall shut, allowing the darkness to encompass him. He forces himself to believe that the lull of sleep is accepted of his own volition.
His cheeks tingle. Rumi is holding onto his face. “No, no, no—” she grits out. Her voice is growing distant. “Stop. You can’t do this to me.” The words rush out of her in a frenzy, full of haste and distress. “Jinu.”
“Rumi,” he responds in a broken murmur. “Thank you.”
She was right. Gwi-Ma could be defeated.
He should have listened to her.
(Or: A fix-it/time-travel au where Jinu goes back to the very beginning of the story and sets things right.)

❓ A "WHAT IF" of Trolls 1 ❓
Instead of singing True Colors, Branch chooses to break the trolls free from Chef's Pot. But when King Peppy dies in the escape and all the trolls lose trust in Poppy (including herself), Branch has no choice but to step up as the new King.
But even though Branch will do anything to ensure their village's survival, how is he supposed to handle:
-The Bergens and Creek hunting them down...
-The other Genre Trolls believing that Pop Trolls are evil and plotting a war...
-Reuniting with his brothers and revealing all their hidden family traumas...
