Time will tell how we are remembered for our actions in the Blight, of few things I am certain but that is one.
I believe us to have been heroes, but I am sure many others would disagree, they deem us demons in our own right even now.
But we did what we could, saved everyone we could, fought bravely and did our duties.
If or not we are heroes will be decided when they write their own versions of this tale, but I hope in some small way my account will color us in some way truthfully, if not favorably.I seek only to tell the truth of the story of how the Grey Wardens of Ferelden acted in the Blight, this account, this story, is that truth to the best of my abilities.
Within is a story of danger, tragedy, betrayal, romance, joy and sorrow. It is a true story, my story, my sister's. From the fall of Castle Cousland to the defeat of the Archdemon, this is the true story of the Fifth Blight.--
