The layered wedding dress pooled around them, head tilted upwards, lips parted, like he’s ready to say a prayer.
Ready to receive Max’s blessing.
Waiting for Max to give him purpose.

Summary

The OP is right—it was definitely abandoned only recently.
Charles had been doing urbex for a good couple of years, but he’s never seen such a well-preserved building before. The debris is minimal, there is no graffiti in sight, and the furniture is well-kept.
It’s perfect.
A few days before Halloween, Lando makes the terrible mistake of sending a Reddit link to the iRacing Discord server. With the help of Charles, he persuades the whole friend group to join him in on the one thing they all swore would never get back into: urban exploring.
