“We missed you,” Ranboo said.
Tommy scoffed and turned his head away.
“Tubbo made it pretty sure he didn’t miss me.”
“He does,” Ranboo said. “He did.”
“Then why all- all-” Tommy waved his hands around.
“Because he missed you.”
Tommy sighed, and rewrapped his arms so the hands wound around his elbows.
“I’m thinking I maybe shouldn’t have come back,” he said.
“Why?”
Tommy shrugged.
“Because my best friends have a whole life without me. Because my family has grown without me. Because my nephew never knew me. Because I wasn’t there. And now- now it’s too late.” He buried his hands in his hair, fingers tangling through loosening curls. “Now it’s too late, and I can’t- I can’t fix anything.”----
Five years ago, give or take, Tommy's older brother killed himself. Five years later, he goes back home and tries to pick up the pieces.

Wilbur, Tubbo and Tommy are part of a motorbike racing team, currently stationed on the futuristic west coast of California when they find out that their last teammate, Technoblade, will be unable to race. Scrambling to find a replacement, Tubbo and Tommy stumble upon a robotics and coding genius named Ranboo, who is promptly shoehorned into joining the team for the time being.
This story covers most of the daily life and Shenanigans of the racing team, and an oddly well-kept secret that some would be willing to do anything to obtain.

“You’re my guest, I your host, and this is my humble abode.” the man tilted his head as he poured some tea into Tommy’s cup. “So nice of you to drop in- I knew you would, of course, but it’s nice all the same.” He had on a wide-sleeved green robe, the ends of the sleeves nearly dipping into the teacups once or twice. “Now, what might your name be?”
“Uh, Tommy.” Tommy sat up, extremely suspicious at the stranger’s calm demeanor and rubbing a new sore spot.
“Well, Tommy.” The man paused, glancing up so his blue gaze pierced Tommy’s from beneath the rim of his weird hat. “My name is Philza. I’m a wizard.”------
Tommy's an orphan under the guardian-ship of two nobles who hate magic. Philza's a wizard who came out of the forest, because Tommy's got a destiny and so-help-him Phil's going to help set him on the right path.
